Q: What insurance is accepted by the Preventive Medicine Institute?
A: We accept most major health insurance plans, however not all Advantage plans or HMO plans are accepted. Self-pay is also an option.

A: The Preventive Medicine Institute offers a wide range of preventive medicine services, including health screenings, lifestyle counseling, nutrition advice, and more. 

Q: What type of health insurance plans does the Preventive Medicine Institute recommend regarding Medicare?
A: The Preventive Medicine Institute recommends Medicare and Medicare Supplement plans over Advantage plans. These plans may provide a higher level of coverage and more flexibility for the user.

Q: What is the difference between a PPO and HMO plan? 
A: A PPO plan offers a greater degree of freedom than an HMO plan. With a PPO plan, you are able to visit any doctor or specialist that is in-network without a referral. With an HMO plan, you must visit your Primary Care Physician first before being referred to any other specialist.
